I’m pleased to announce three shows happening next week. The band is comprised of some of my very favorite musicians. We’re doing three shows in Chicago before going into the studio to make a record.
The band is:

We’ll be playing one set at the Hungry Brain on March 24th, two sets at the Skylark on March 25th and two sets at Bar Deville on March 26th.

I’m very excited to say that Leaf Bird is playing a couple of shows to celebrate our new release, Diamonds from the Cherry Mine Volume 1, out next week on Chicago’s Plustapes label.

This tour began as a kind of collaborative daydream between Asuna, Sakiyo and myself when Costa Music first went to Japan back in 2007. We’re all very happy that it’s finally coming together. We’ll be doing a handful of shows and recording in Chicago before heading to the East Coast. More info on individual dates HERE.
